Our sitters are also cat people. We take extra care to be gentle and knowledgeable about cat behavior. Our goal is for your cats to be comfortable, safe, socialized, and exercised so you can relax and enjoy your time away.
Our visits include a love fest when we first arrive, cleaning out food and water dishes, replenishing food and water, scooping litter, lots of play or more love fest depending on their whims, and then any small tasks you may need such as fetching the mail or taking out the trash. We always text after each visit and usually send a picture or video so you can see how the kitties are doing. We are glad to take care of other small creatures as well such as fish, gecko, etc.
Scheduling and payments are super easy with our online software program. Clients can view their pets' schedule and information for accuracy as well as request visits. Most of our clients prefer to pay through PayPal which allows them to use a credit card, debit card, or electronic check from their bank accounts. However, we can certainly take cash or check as well.

How long have you been in business?
Bohemian Catsody was started in November of 2016, but it grew out of Snugglemeisters Pet Sitting Pros, LLC which has been serving Nashville since 2012. Same experienced sitters and owner, different name/niche!
What is your primary product or service?
Our primary product is the daily visit. We do 20-minute or 30-minute visits which include snuggle time with the cats, cleaning food and water dishes, replenishing food and water, scooping litter, cleaning litter area and disposing of the waste, then serious playtime. Our goal is to leave with the cats fully physically challenged, loved, and intellectually stimulated so they can rest and be in great, healthy spirits when their owners return.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I taught in the private schools for fourteen years and began pet sitting for my students' families. I also had a neighbor who was a professional pet sitter. She took care of my pug and cats and then I also helped her with her pets and with some clients when she needed an extra hand. So I learned a lot from her. And of course I had pets all my life growing up so when I was looking at starting a side business, the pet business seemed a good choice.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We specialize in just cats now. Although cats are more independent than dogs, they still love their families and need close supervision and interaction to remain healthy physically and mentally. Cats also need to be handled quite differently from dogs, so we have a very quiet, gentle approach that implements many of the more current techniques for calming cats when handling or interacting. Understanding cat behavior is key to our approach, our sitters are all very calm, quiet, and gentle...like a cat.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We offer in-home pet sitting services, which means we go to clients' homes where the cats are able to stay in their own comfortable surroundings. This ensures a safe pet as well as a safe home with a caring professional coming and going one or two times a day.
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept cash, check, or Paypal. We have an excellent pet-sitting software that allows clients to log on to enter information, schedule visits, email, and pay easily and quickly online.
Which areas do you service?
We service Antioch, LaVernge, Cane Ridge, Lenox Village, Brentwood, and some parts of Sylvan Park or Green Hills.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Diane Swanson is the owner and operator.
What are your hours of operation?
We do visits from 7:00 am - 8:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Office hours vary depending on when we're out doing visits, but we can usually be reached up until 9:00 pm.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
The best compliments are when scaredy cats come out to visit, so those compliments come from the cats themselves!
